How much downtime should we plan for?

It depends on what has to move and whether it can move in phases. Sea freight means a multi-week gap for bulk items, so critical equipment usually travels by air while the rest follows. We will map this out with you at survey stage and be honest about where the unavoidable gaps are.

Can you move trading stock as well as equipment?

Yes, though stock is a commercial import and attracts duty and VAT treatment that used office equipment may not. We will explain how your particular goods are likely to be treated and prepare the declarations accordingly.

Do you handle staff relocations at the same time?

Frequently. Where a business move involves relocating employees and their families, we handle the household moves alongside the commercial shipment and coordinate the timings, which is considerably simpler than briefing two companies.

Laboratory, medical, catering and workshop equipment is crated to its own requirements. We would rather over-protect a rack than explain a dead server.

Commercial documentation and stock

Commercial shipments are declared differently from personal effects, and trading stock attracts duty and VAT treatment that household goods do not. We prepare the commercial invoices, packing lists and declarations, and our destination team clears the shipment and delivers to your Cypriot premises.
