Any figure we discuss before a survey is an estimate given in good faith and is not binding. A binding quotation is issued in writing after a survey of your effects, whether carried out in person or by video call, and is valid for the period stated on it.

A quotation is based on the volume, access and services described in it. If the volume of your effects changes materially, or if access at either end is significantly different from what was described to us, we will tell you what that means for the price before proceeding rather than presenting you with an adjusted invoice afterwards.

Your written quotation states precisely what is included. Items commonly excluded are customs duty or taxes where you do not qualify for relief, storage beyond any period quoted, parking dispensations where a local authority charges for them, and specialist handling of items such as pianos, safes or vehicles unless specifically quoted.

We do not carry prohibited or hazardous goods, including fuels, gas cylinders, aerosols under pressure, firearms, illegal items, cash or jewellery. Please do not pack such items in your consignment.

Marine transit insurance is offered on every shipment and we strongly recommend it. Cover is arranged on the basis of a valued inventory that you prepare and that we help you with. Where you decline insurance, your effects travel at your own risk beyond our liability under the applicable conditions of carriage.

We carry out the packing and loading in the United Kingdom. Import formalities, customs clearance and delivery within Cyprus are carried out by our established destination agent on the island. We remain your point of contact throughout and coordinate both ends of the move.

Any transit time we give is an estimate based on published sailing schedules. Sailing delays, port congestion, weather and the time taken by customs authorities are outside our control. We will keep you informed and give you realistic expectations rather than optimistic ones.
