Part Loads & Groupage

Part Load and Groupage Shipping to Cyprus

Share a container with other Cyprus-bound shipments and pay only for the space you use.

Not every move fills a container, and there is no sense paying for space you are not using. Groupage consolidates your effects with other UK shipments heading to Cyprus so that the cost of the container is shared between everyone in it. For a flat's worth of furniture, a part-furnished holiday home, or the fifty boxes and three pieces you actually care about, it is comfortably the most sensible option.

How consolidation works

Your effects are collected, brought into our warehouse, inventoried and set aside in a dedicated bay. When enough Cyprus-bound volume has accumulated, the container is loaded with each consignment kept separate and clearly identified, then sealed and shipped. At the destination, the container is unpacked and each consignment delivered to its own address.

What it means for your timings

The trade-off for the lower cost is a little less control over the departure date, because the container leaves when it is full. We publish indicative departure windows and tell you at the point of booking which one you are aiming for. If your date is immovable, a sole-use container or air freight will serve you better, and we will say so.

How your goods are protected

Shared does not mean loose. Each consignment is palletised, wrapped or crated as appropriate and physically separated within the container, and the numbered inventory travels with it. Our crews are the only people who handle your effects in the UK, and our destination team the only people who handle them in Cyprus.
