Chloraka sits immediately north of Paphos and has effectively merged with it, which gives residents village character with town amenities five minutes away. It is less holiday-oriented than Coral Bay and appeals to people who intend to live in Cyprus rather than to spend part of the year there — families, working couples and those on their second Cypriot property.

Access is generally good on the main roads. Older parts of the village have narrower lanes that may require a smaller vehicle for the final leg.
