Polis and the harbour at Latchi occupy the north-west corner of the region, up against the Akamas peninsula. This is the least developed coast in Cyprus and deliberately so, which is the whole attraction — a genuine town square shaded by eucalyptus, a small harbour with fishing boats and tavernas, and hills behind that remain largely empty. It suits people who found Paphos too busy and are content to drive for a supermarket.
Delivering to Polis & Latchi
An hour or more inland from Limassol port and further from Paphos than most of the region, so deliveries need scheduling with that in mind. Roads into Polis are good; the coastal lanes towards Akamas and the hill villages behind are narrow.
Property in Polis & Latchi — will your furniture fit?
Smaller-scale development than the Paphos coast, with stone-built village houses alongside modern villas. Older properties can have very restricted access and thick stone walls that complicate fixing and fitting.
